Stefanos Antoniadis

Stefanos joined our team in 2011 as Surveyor and became Senior Surveyor in 2020.

He has attended an array of damage surveys (grounding, collision, fire, explosion, machinery and cargo damages). Stefanos has carried out root cause investigation and analysis on a variety of machinery failures. His advanced skill in drafting complex repair specifications has proven valuable in obtaining yard tenders generating accurate cost estimates for reserve purposes in major damage repairs.

Since joining our firm, Stefanos has also carried out over a total of 300 H&M condition/risk assessment and warranty surveys as well as P&I loss prevention surveys, overseeing the overall report quality control of such surveys in the Piraeus office.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Class Surveyor and ISM Auditor (5 years)
• Certified in Ship Surveying (Lloyd’s Maritime Academy)
• Certified Operator for Ultrasonic hatch cover tightness testing with Class Type Approved Sherlog TA

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• MSc in Technical Management of Ship Operations from the Glasgow & Strathclyde Universities
• BEng in Naval Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens
