Anil joined our team in October 2025, initially spending time at our Piraeus Head Office for familiarization and training, during which he participated in several casualty and risk assessment surveys, alongside with our surveyors. He now serves as our Senior Engineer Surveyor, overseeing operations across India and the Middle East.
Having served as an Oceangoing Engineer mainly onboard Product / Chemical and Oil tankers of varying types / size range – from Afframax to VLCC – reaching the rank of Chief Engineer, he brings extensive seagoing experience and hand-on knowledge of all ship operations, maintenance and repairs, including MAN (both MC &ME types) and Wartsila main engines.
Following his seagoing career, Anil joined DNV as a Ships–In–Service Senior surveyor for the last 2 years based in Kandla, where he was also offered the role of Area Manager. In this capacity, he developed in-depth knowledge of Class Hull, Machinery, Safety, and Regulatory requirements for ocean-going vessels of all types, as well as the practices of the India Maritime and Port Authorities.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Oceangoing Engineer, attained Chief Engineer rank (12 years)
- DNV Class -Senior Marine Surveyor (Ships in Service) / ISM- ISPS Auditor (2 years)
- Service & Maintenance Training – Wartsila / MAN B&W engines.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma in Marine Engineering (2009)
- COC Grade – Marine Engineer Officer, Class 1
