Marius Condurache

Marius has joined our Constanta office in May 2026, having completed more than a 10 year term as an oceangoing engineer on board various types of vessels, reaching the rank of 1st Engineer.

With an advance technical foundation that includes IGF/LNG Advanced Certification and Dual Fuel engines operation. he was subsequently engaged in several positions such as: Environmental Compliance System Engineer, Warranty Engineer and Ship Manager for leading companies, before joining our Constanta office.

Consequently, he brings expertise on marine machinery operational and maintenance parameters, as well as oceangoing E/R operations, backed by a strong foundation in the operation, maintenance, and repair of various types of main and auxiliary engines, including dual fuel design, on a variety ships type, from Cruise Liners to Bulk Carriers.

Since joining us Marius went through intensive training in our Piraeus Head office on all aspects of marine surveying and insurance matters and has already been actively involved in both Casualty and JH Risk Assessment Condition surveys obo H&M Underwriters and P&I Clubs, having also been involved in several types of machinery failures and damage repairs as a senior supervisor as well as during his previous seagoing service on Cruise Ships and Bulk carriers.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Warranty & Ship Manager (Royal Caribbean Group) – 3 years
• Oceangoing Engineer (BSM, Costa Crociere, Silversea) – 10 years in total, incl. 2 as 1st Engineer and 3 as 2nd Engineer
• Environmental Compliance System Engineer (Carnival Corporation – Costa & Aida fleet)
• LNG Advance IGF Certified
• STCW Reg III/2 Certificate

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Electromechanical Naval Systems from “Mircea cel Batran” Naval Academy, Romania.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering from “Mircea cel Batran” Naval Academy, Romania.
