Ketan joined our India operations in June 2026.
He switched to the marine surveying and technical management sector after gaining practical seagoing experience as an engineer officer on board Bulk Carriers and General Cargo Vessels. Since pursuing a carrer ashore, he has been actively involved in marine surveying, since 2024, vessel reactivation, ship repair, shipbuilding, and project management for a wide range of commercial and governmental marine projects.
As such, he possesses a wide range of technical experience on marine projects management, Quality Control and Assurance inspections and ship repairs supervision, combined with academical education. His background is complemented by hands-on experience in marine engineering, maintenance of main & auxiliary installations, and vessel machinery operations.
Since he joined our firm, Ketan has been actively involved in all kinds of H&M and P&I Surveys, including JH Risk Assessment / Condition and Loss Prevention, acting on behalf H&M Underwriters and P&I Clubs.
