Dimitris Linardos

Dimitris has been involved in a variety of H&M casualties, Condition / Valuation and Loss Prevention surveys on various vessel types, acting on behalf of H& Underwriters and P&I Clubs.

Having graduated from the Hellenic Naval Academy, he served on board various types of naval vessels for 10 years, reaching the rank of the Chief Engineer. Subsequently he also completed his training as an aviation engineer and served at the Greek Navy Hellenic Maritime Patrol Squadron for 9 years reaching the rank of Maintenance Officer. As such, he possesses a wide range of high technology engineering and machinery operation and maintenance aspects, being highly qualified with all practical and technological of both diesel and gas turbine propulsion engines.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hellenic Navy – Serving on board Naval vessels as an Engineer Officer reaching the rank of Chief Engineer: 2005 to 2016 – Ten (10) years
• Hellenic Navy – Servicing in Hellenic Maritime Patrol Squadron reaching the rank of Maintenance Officer: 2016 to 2025 – Nine (9) years
• H.N.M.A.A. – OSAC AERO – Airworthiness Inspector – 2024

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSc in Marine Engineering – Hellenic Naval Academy
• BSc in Business Administration – University of Piraeus
