We were acquainted with Jesper when he was attending as a senior MAN PRIMESERV Service Engineer on several MAN main engines failures and highly demanding damage repairs on a global scale, jointly with our surveyors.

After graduating from Copenhagen Technical College in December 1995, Jesper has dedicated his entire professional career to MAN B&W long stroke diesel engines at MAN works in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Jesper’s vast and accumulated experience and high-end expertise attained in his 29-year career at MAN Works Copenhagen, before he joined forces with Evdemon & Partners as our Senior Consultant / Expert on MAN B&W Main Engines failures and damage repairs, included initially 12 years as a Research Engineer at MAN Works for main propulsion long stroke Diesel Engines, from 1995 to 2007.

Subsequently, Jesper attained the position of a Senior Service Engineer at MAN ES Primeserv Houston for the next 7 years, followed by 10 years as an MAN ES Service Engineer position at MAN Works Copenhagen.

During his service in MAN, Jesper has been engaged and supervised a variety of complex and large scale Main Engine failures investigations and damage repairs, to include high profile crankshaft/bedplate and engine frames renewal, by also sharing his expertise for providing  cost-time effective solutions and results in such major  failures and damage repairs.

Since April 2022, Jesper has left MAN  and established his own operations as a free-lancer MAN propulsion engines senior engineer / expert, undertaking major Main Engine repairs and failures investigations.

After engaging with our group as our senior MAN propulsion engines consultant, Jesper’s expertise on MAN engines design, operational features and maintenance/repairs, has proven valuable to both our firm and our principals, in causation analysis of main engines failures and convoluted MAN propulsion engines large scale damage repairs.

Jesper is available to engage upon request in attending Main Engine failures and provide his expert knowledge and advise on both causation and necessary damage repairs, jointly with our attending surveyors, in any of the geographical regions our global office network provides casualty surveying services.
