Martin J. Rivero

Martin joined the firm in 2010 immediately after the Buenos Aires office was opened, as our first office in the Americas.

He is dealing with all type of H&M casualty work, including mayor machinery and hull damages, as well as condition surveys for major H&M Underwriters and P&I Clubs in the Americas region

Martin have a solid experience in investigating and dealing with incidents at port terminals on behalf of major H&M Underwriters and major P&I Club. He also achieved the certification as operator for Sherlog TA ultrasonic testing and is supervising the US testing and certification scheme for Surveyors in Buenos Aires office.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Apprentice Engineer at shipyard (1 year)
• Independent Surveyor for local Underwriters in Argentina (3 years).

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• MSc Naval Architect & Marine Engineer, National University of Buenos Aires
