He carries out casualty surveys and investigations of all kinds for H&M Underwriters and P&I Clubs, including engine failure, collision, grounding, fire damage, warranty surveys and has extensive practical as well as theoretical knowledge of diesel engines such as MAN, B&W, MAK and Yanmar.

Julius possesses an in-depth knowledge of West African shipyards, repair facilities and has strong ties with the Ghana Maritime community. He graduated from the prestigious Regional Maritime University (RMU) in Accra, Ghana.

The RMU is an international tertiary institution with diplomatic status in Accra, founded by the Republics of Cameroon, The Gambia, Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The RMU objective is to promote regional co-operation in the maritime industry focusing on the training to ensure the sustained growth and development of the industry.
