Angel joined the firm in February 2019 and initially worked in our Istanbul and Piraeus offices for three months before returning to Gibraltar.

Since then Angel has undertaken numerous casualty surveys and investigations of all kinds for H&M Underwriters and P&I Clubs, including engine failure, collision, grounding and fire damages.

In addition, Angel has carried out a number of pre-purchase & warranty surveys.

Angel brings experience in ship repairs including drafting of repair specifications, as he was previously working at Cernaval Shipyard in Spain as a Ship Repair Manager and Estimator dealing with major repairs / refits (hull and machinery) on all ship types.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE:

  • Ship Repair Manager in Cernaval Shipyard, Spain (2 years)
  • Estimator in Cernaval Shipyard, Spain (2 years)
  • Certified Operator for Ultrasonic hatch cover tightness testing with Class Type Approved Sherlog TA

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSc in Naval Architecture from the University of Cadiz, Spain
