Pablo recently joined our firm in October 2024. He is a Marine Engineer/Naval Architect, who graduated with a BSc in Naval Architecture, from University of Cadiz in 2012 and subsequently earned an MSc in Naval Architecture from the University of Madrid.
After completing his studies in 2015, Pablo was employed as a Naval Architect/Design Engineer by Navantia SA for 4 years, during which he attained vast experience in all naval architecture applications, including 3D Model generation and Damage Stability calculations. Most significantly, he drafted numerous Specification of Repairs for supporting the yard’s commercial offers, as a Ship & Project Manager and Cost Estimator, thus attaining in depth knowledge of repair tariffs and charging practices in Spain.
Subsequently and for 2 years, Pablo continued his employment in yards abroad, Chantier de L’ Atlantique (St Nazaire, France) & Oxe Marine (Angelholm, Sweden), where he was occupied with various engineering aspects and projects such as, integrated LNG propulsion, analytics on marine engines performance and R&D.
After a brief employment spell in Granada by NRF Spain as an Application Engineer, Pablo joined our firm at our Gibraltar Office, since working together with his brother Antonio Morillas, our Senior Surveyor operating out of Las Palmas Office.
Since joining our firm, Pablo is attending and reporting upon a variety of H&M casualties of all types as well as condition surveys, becoming an integral member of our Panama office Surveyors team.
