Manolis Christonakis

Manolis joined the firm in 2016. Since then, he has undertaken numerous casualty surveys and investigations of all kinds for H&M Underwriters and P&I Clubs, including engine failure, collision, grounding and fire damages.

With his background as Superintendent Engineer, Manolis has carried out a number of warranty surveys, particularly Crew and Office Management Assessment (JH 2013/007C).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Superintendent Engineer (11 years)
• Class Surveyor for the HRS (4 years)
• Certified Operator for Ultrasonic hatch cover tightness testing with Class Type Approved Sherlog TA
• Certified as Integrated Maritime Auditor ISM/ISPS/ISO
• Certified in Risk Management and Incident Investigation

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens
