Xuhui has been involved in various types of casualty, marine warranty/condition, and loss prevention surveys on various vessel types, acting on behalf of H&M Underwriters and P&I Clubs.
Having completed a 7-year term as an oceangoing engineer on board various types of vessels, reaching the rank of 3rd Engineer, he was subsequently employed ashore as a marine service site manager (2 years) in China, before joining the Shanghai surveyors’ team.
As such, he possesses solid knowledge of main and auxiliary machinery operation, maintenance, and repairs, together with practical familiarity with routine marine service procedures.
